What we collect
- Account: email, name, handle, timezone — what you enter at sign-up and in Settings. Stored in AWS Cognito + DynamoDB (us-east-1).
- Captures + clips: source URL, downloaded source video, transcript, generated clips. Stored in S3 + DynamoDB, scoped to your workspace.
- Usage:pipeline event timestamps + status. Used for debugging and showing you progress. We don’t run a third-party analytics pixel on the app.
- Billing: Stripe handles your card. We only store the Stripe customer ID + your workspace plan.
- Notification integrations: Slack webhook URL (you opt in), push subscription (you opt in). We use them only to send you notifications.
What we don’t do
- We don’t train foundation models on your content.
- We don’t sell your content or your contact info.
- We don’t run behavioral ad pixels.
- We don’t share your data with third parties except the subprocessors below.
Subprocessors
- Amazon Web Services — compute, storage, database, email (us-east-1).
- Anthropic — Claude models for transcription, hook detection, research.
- BrightData — source-URL video download.
- Hetzner Cloud — scraper node in Ashburn, VA.
- Stripe — payment processing + subscription management.
- Finnhub — stock signal quotes (public prices only; no PII).
- Coinbase — crypto spot prices (public API; no PII).
Your rights
You can export or delete your account any time in Settings → Danger zone. Your Cognito identity is deleted immediately on request; content scoped to your workspace is cleaned up within 30 days. Email drew@thelibertyline.com for anything else (GDPR data-access requests, corrections, etc.).
Cookies
We set session cookies for Cognito auth. No advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes we’ll update this page and surface a banner before the change lands.
Data retention
Active accounts: indefinite. Deleted accounts: 30 days then purged. Notifications: 90 days in the inbox then TTL’d. Ideate snapshots: indefinite (they’re your research).
