1. Plain-English summary

ClipUnity is a single-operator product run by Drew Smith (drew@thelibertyline.com). By signing up you’re agreeing to the rules below. We’ll keep them short and we’ll update this page when they change.

2. Your content

You own every clip, transcript, caption, and upload you create with ClipUnity. We hold a limited license to store, transcode, and transmit your content only to provide the service. We don’t train foundation models on your content. We don’t sell your content. If you delete your account, your content is removed within 30 days (Cognito identity is deleted immediately).

3. Source material

ClipUnity downloads source video from public URLs you provide. You’re responsible for having the right to use that source — whether that’s fair use, a creator license, or your own upload. We don’t host infringing content knowingly, and we’ll take it down promptly on a credible rights claim.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don’t capture private content (private accounts, DMs, gated feeds).
  • Don’t use ClipUnity to harass, defame, or deceive.
  • Don’t attempt to overwhelm our infrastructure or circumvent rate limits.
  • Don’t use ClipUnity to generate or distribute CSAM or other material banned by US law.

Violating these policies ends your access.

5. Third-party services

We use Amazon Web Services (compute + storage), Anthropic (Claude models), BrightData (source ingest), Stripe (billing), AWS SES (email), and Slack (notifications opt-in). Your content passes through those services as needed to run the product — each has its own privacy posture.

6. Billing

Paid plans are handled by Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Refunds are handled case-by-case — email drew@thelibertyline.com.

7. Warranty & limits

ClipUnity is provided “as is” with no warranty of uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-generated output. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to what you’ve paid us in the prior 12 months.

8. Changes

We’ll update these terms when the product changes. Material changes get an email to every active account. If you don’t agree, cancel and we’ll delete your data.
